Bonds

At times, play can get emotional when tensions are high. In heated moments, once strongly forged bonds between friends and family can break. Such cracks are represented by the empty gaps between bright hues of purple and pink. However, play can also be restorative, mending and strengthening bonds through connection.

About

Zayne Pua, who lives with Anxiety Disorder, has been drawn to drawing and painting since childhood. As his condition developed, he discovered that creating art helped him manage anxiety and find moments of calm. Even after he was advised to stop school, he has continued to paint, holding closely to the practice that supports him. Today, art remains an important part of his life, offering both comfort and a sense of direction in how he moves forward.
