Much like Alice on her fantastical journey, Genine ventures into new realms through the language of colour and movement. "Wonderland" bursts forth with unexpected combinations; bold, whimsical, and unrestrained, evoking that familiar sense of wonder: “curiouser and curiouser!” Unbothered by the noise of the world beyond the canvas, she dances through this kaleidoscopic playground, crafting a visual space that echoes the joyful chaos of neighbourhood play areas. About

Genine, born with Epilepsy, is known for using her hands and feet to move paint across the canvas, creating art that is an odyssey of courage and creativity. In her early days, she would cover her entire body in paint, fully immersing herself in the experience. Today, her work continues to reflect that same curiosity and playfulness, with phantasmic colours and textures that draw viewers in for a closer look. As part of Extraordinary People's Creative Lab, Genine has showcased her work alongside notable artists and won the Shining HeArts Award in 2024.
