This painting is a tribute to the beautiful flamingos of Jurong Bird Park, capturing a fleeting moment before they moved to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. For many in Singapore, these graceful birds were a cherished part of the park, adding vibrant splashes of pink to their childhood memories. The piece honours those nostalgic moments—school trips, family outings, and the simple joy of witnessing these birds in their serene beauty. Through this artwork, the artist captures and preserves a significant chapter of Singapore’s history, a memory that continues to live on in the brushstrokes of time.
