A cacophony of music and laughter can be heard as the children play instruments together, enjoying themselves. Whether it’s the steady rhythm of a drum, the clear note of a flute, or the simple joy of movement, their play is a shared language. This scene reminds viewers that when spaces are created to accommodate every ability, the world can become brighter and more harmonious. A homage to Vincent’s Indonesian roots, the artist celebrates Indonesian heritage through instruments like Gendang and Seruling Bambu and depicts a Pura (known as a Balinese temple) in the background.

As an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and limited verbal ability, Vincent Wijaya expresses his world through bold and uplifting imagery. His practice is defined by vibrant primary colours, thick black outlines, and repeating patterns of dots, shapes, and stripes, creating artworks that feel both structured and full of life. Through his art, he shares a unique perspective shaped by energy, positivity, and imagination.
