By Azril Shadiq Bin Ahmad, AWWA
This artwork commemorates Singapore's 60th anniversary of independence, tracing the island’s familiar outline through four distinct mediums. Each medium represents one of Singapore's major racial groups — Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Eurasian — brought together in a graceful yet enduring homage to Singapore’s multicultural identity. Bound by diversity and strengthened by unity, these elements come together as one, reflecting the harmony that has shaped Singapore’s journey and continues to guide its future.
