Like a giant heartfelt birthday card for Singapore, this painting fills the air with colourful balloons of wishes carrying the words HOPE, FAITH, and LOVE, each one a promise for Singapore’s future. The heart-shaped balloon featuring the Singapore flag adds a special touch of love and pride. About

Sijun is a cheerful boy who finds joy in painting vibrant, colourful scenes. Born with Down Syndrome and Congenital Heart Defect, he has faced many challenges, including surgeries and difficulties with speech, vision, and gripping objects. Nevertheless, his love for painting has remained strong. Though he paints slowly, carefully filling each canvas stroke by stroke, he never gives up. Outside of painting, Sijun enjoys designing dream homes on his iPad and aspires to study interior design, hoping to create beautiful spaces that bring joy, just like the colours in his artwork.
