Thian Hock Keng stands as a timeless tribute to faith and tradition, nestled in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown. It was built in honour of 'Mazu', a Chinese sea goddess, and it is located in Singapore. As the oldest and most important Hokkien temple in the country, its walls whisper stories of devotion, hope, and journeys across the seas. With intricate architecture and a soul steeped in history, Thian Hock Keng is more than a temple, it is a guardian of heritage, a symbol of cultural pride, and a spiritual anchor through time.
About
After a life-changing car accident in 2005 that left her with C6 spinal cord injury, Christina Lau discovered new ways to express herself through art.
