By Gabriel Rhed Osea Longid
The bear once had a tail, but one day, it was gone. No one knows how or why, and the bear never speaks of it. Perhaps, in quiet moments, he feels its absence, but still, he stands strong, kind, and wholly himself. The artist painted him this way to capture the truth that even when something is lost, it does not diminish who we are. Sometimes, the artist feels the same, as though there’s a part of him hidden from view, a piece that others may not always see. Yet, that is okay. For the bear remains brave. And still, he is loved.
