By Gabriel Rhed Osea Longid
The artist set out to paint a regal lion, but a mistake led to an unexpected outcome: its tongue playfully sticking out. The sight made the artist laugh, and rather than correcting it, he embraced the moment, letting the spontaneity shape the work. Though the painting is not flawless, some lines are imperfect, and the colours may not be exact, it is precisely this freedom that gives it its charm. As the artist reflects, "Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but they turn out even better." What was once intended to be serious has transformed into something far more captivating. This lion, with its joyful imperfection, broke the rules and, in doing so, became all the more enchanting.
