The piece captures the tranquil beauty of the lake, while also reflecting the artisans' journey of perseverance and creative expression. Through their work, they demonstrate how art can transcend barriers, turning fragments into a testament of both Hanoi’s beauty and the strength of the human spirit.
About
At Vụn Art, a group of artists with disabilities has found a powerful way to express themselves through collage paintings made from fabric scraps. Nguyễn Văn Quảng, Trịnh Quốc Bảo, and Đặng Thị Luyến, all born with congenital deafness and muteness, along with Trương Thụy Hoàng Mỹ, who faces depression, have transformed leftover silk pieces into stunning works of art. Through their creativity, they demonstrate how art can transcend challenges and empower those who create it.
