"Strength and Power" captures the grace and profound significance of the hummingbird, inviting viewers to appreciate both its delicate beauty and remarkable strength. Despite its small size, the hummingbird’s rapid wing beats demonstrate incredible power and endurance, symbolising the idea that one's potential is not defined by size. The artist hopes this piece will inspire reflection on the strength inherent in all beings, regardless of their physical form. A fun fact: Hummingbirds are the only birds capable of flying backwards. Their unique ability to hover in mid air allows them to fly not only forwards and backwards but also upside down, showcasing unparalleled agility in the avian world.
