"Stardust Serpent" is a vivid, imaginative portrayal of a serpent gliding through a cosmic dreamscape. Set against a star-speckled backdrop, its radiant body coils upward in textured segments, alive with shifting colours and intricate patterns. Bursts of yellow, pink, and white scatter across the dark canvas, placing the serpent in a galaxy of endless possibility. Created by Jit Liang who has an intellectual disability, this work becomes more than a painting: it is a visual journey of transformation and inner growth. With each stroke, the painting reminds us that even in the darkest skies, luminous paths await, shimmering one colour at a time.

Jit Liang, who has an Intellectual Disability, is a passionate and emerging artist whose work explores themes of transformation, resilience, and hope. Having once been influenced by the wrong crowd, he has since made significant strides to turn his life around. Now living in a care home, Jit Liang is dedicated to personal growth and takes responsibility for his journey. He actively supports his peers and mentors, using his art as a means of self-expression and a way to inspire those around him.
