The Happy Tree

Finding solace in observing the birds rest among the branches of the tree outside his classroom, Sayge reimagines this scene in a playful manner. He depicts a cat hidden within the tree trunk and a young man on a swing. As a personal and joyful touch to the artwork, the artist also included his beloved dog, Momo. This artwork is a testament to Sayge’s creativity, keen observation of his surroundings, and an insight of what is meaningful to him.

About

Sayge is an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who has shown a strong interest in drawing from a young age. With support from his mother, he has explored different materials and developed a love for creating art. Inspired by cartoons, animals and icons from his communication device, he uses drawing as a calming tool and a way to express himself. His artworks reflect his creativity, interests and personal expression.
