Skyline Symphony

Sijun finds inspiration in lively places, and Singapore’s skyline is one of his favourites. In this piece, he captures the tall buildings by the water, their colours dancing in the rippling waves. The mix of blues, greens, purples, and yellows reflects the city’s vibrant and ever-changing energy. The reflections add movement, while bold brushstrokes bring the city to life as a colourful, vibrant home. Through his work, Sijun hopes to share the beauty he sees in Singapore’s skyline, where the city and water come together in a perfect, shimmering harmony.


About

Sijun is a cheerful boy who finds joy in painting vibrant, colourful scenes. Born with Down Syndrome and Congenital Heart Defect, he has faced many challenges, including surgeries and difficulties with speech, vision, and gripping objects. Nevertheless, his love for painting has remained strong. Though he paints slowly, carefully filling each canvas stroke by stroke, he never gives up. Outside of painting, Sijun enjoys designing dream homes on his iPad and aspires to study interior design, hoping to create beautiful spaces that bring joy, just like the colours in his artwork.
