By Christina Lau Lay Lian, Mouth and Foot Painting Artists
A heritage or historic site is more than just a place — it is where the echoes of history are lovingly preserved, where the spirit of the past lives on in stone, story, and memory.
These treasured spaces hold fragments of political, military, or social history, reminding us of who we were and guiding us toward who we might become. They are not just markers of time, but vessels of culture, identity, and shared belonging.
About
After a life-changing car accident in 2005 that left her with C6 spinal cord injury, Christina Lau discovered new ways to express herself through art. Despite being paralysed from her chest down and the loss of finger movements, she transformed her journey from Prison Officer to artist, demonstrating remarkable resilience. Through her artwork, she continues to share her unique perspective, proving that creativity knows no physical bounds.
