Jeanie is partially blind with low vision, having experienced significant changes in her sight over a short period, including a time of total vision loss. With the support of her family, church community and faith, she gradually regained partial vision and began rebuilding her confidence. A referral to Touch Art introduced her to painting, crocheting and other creative pursuits, where she discovered new skills and a renewed sense of purpose. Through art, Jeanie has found friendship, confidence and a meaningful way to stay connected with the world around her.
