Gardening together

“Gardening Together” shows a family carefully tending to their garden. While they each go about their own tasks, they are brought closer in this same space, strengthening their familial bond. Just like the plants they nurture with love, time, and attention, a family also grows stronger through care and togetherness. Through beautiful crayon colours, Priscillia hopes her artwork brings warmth and sunshine to viewers, spreading happiness and positivity to everyone who sees it.

Priscilla, who is partially blind due to a brain tumour affecting her optic nerve, joined Touch Art in 2009 and has since found a meaningful creative community through art. She shares her work at exhibitions and outreach events, showing how creativity can flourish through touch and expression. Through her practice, she promotes greater awareness and inclusion of the visually impaired community. Her journey reflects resilience, confidence and the power of art to build meaningful connections.
