By Adeline Vejaletchmy, Singapore Association of The Visually Handicapped

This artwork is inspired by the artist's love for "Music and Dance", celebrating how the two come together to unite people regardless of colour, culture, or language. Created with crayons, the piece uses bold marks to represent musical notes, movement, and emotion, reflecting the artist's experience as a person with low vision. While creating the work, she envisioned rhythm flowing through her feet, heart, and mind, moving in harmony with the beat and melody. Through this piece, she hopes to express the happiness, unity, and energy that music and dance bring to everyone.
