The scale features a glowing lightbulb, which represents the brain, standing for clarity and reason, while the heart shape embodies compassion and stability. The composition invites viewers to reflect on the importance of measured choices, reminding them not to be impulsive but to harmonise intellect with feeling Through this work, the artist conveys courage in embracing both logic and love, transforming the balance into a visual metaphor for human growth and understanding.

About

For Nurul Inshirah, art has always been a companion. Having loved drawing since childhood, she rediscovered painting during the COVID-19 lockdown, using acrylics as a way to express herself creatively. Through self-directed practice, she developed confidence and began creating works inspired by her experiences and emotions. Living with Anxiety Disorder, she finds solace in art, using it as a space for reflection, expression and escape. Each painting transforms personal moments into visual stories.
