Inspired by the classic Godzilla films, "Rochor Chaos", is Thaddeus’s explosive reimagining of Singapore’s beloved Rochor Centre. Those iconic, multi-coloured HDB blocks are now caught in a fantastical showdown with towering kaijus. Blending pop culture nostalgia with local heritage, the scene is both playful and chaotic, as colossal creatures descend upon a landmark etched in the collective memory of many Singaporeans. With vibrant hues clashing against the silhouettes of cinematic monsters, the painting asks us to confront the surreal: what if the familiar suddenly turned extraordinary? What would you do if you saw this scene unfold before your eyes?

Thaddeus is an imaginative illustrator whose passion for wildlife and palaeontology brings his unique art to life. With a distinctive style shaped by insatiable curiosity, he creates vivid illustrations of prehistoric creatures, animals, and kaijus that inspire and delight. His work has been featured in local exhibitions, and he has collaborated with brands such as Paper Rex and ANS.EIN, alongside running his own merchandise line, Thaddino. An artist at Extraordinary People’s Creative Lab and diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Thaddeus now channels his creativity into raising awareness about wildlife restoration and designing characters that help teach life skills to young children with ASD.
