"Road to the Future: Majulah Singapura (SG60)" is a tribute to Singapore’s journey, from humble roots to a thriving global city. Framed by the national flag and the Vanda Miss Joaquim, six iconic landmarks bloom within its petals, telling a story of progress, resilience, and hope. Black-and-white iconic landmarks reflect our early foundations for transport, law, and commerce. In vivid contrast, the other attractions burst with colour, symbolising our leap into innovation, culture, and global connection. From past to present, this artwork captures a nation in bloom that is rooted in history, reaching toward the future with unity and pride.

About

Takeshi, born in Singapore, faced significant challenges from a young age when he was diagnosed with Dyslexia at ten-year-old. Despite these struggles, he found solace in creative outlets like art and cooking, where he could express himself without the constraints of words. Takeshi pursued a diploma in Visual Effects and Animation, where his passion for visual storytelling grew, despite challenges with deadlines and anxiety. Today, Takeshi continues to pursue art under the name Ognum, drawing from his unique experiences to fuel his creativity and resilience.
