This painting celebrates the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a tropical sanctuary in the heart of the city and Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the right, orchids featured on Singapore’s first currency notes bloom in tribute to the nation's early financial and botanical heritage. On the left, the national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim, takes pride of place, symbolising resilience and unity. This composition honours Singapore’s journey in preserving both cultural identity and natural beauty, marking a proud milestone on the path to global recognition.

Vincent Seet (Seet Kie Hong) is a two-time stroke survivor and former educator who has turned to art as a means of personal healing and self-expression. Believing that every painting is a dream come true, Vincent uses his artwork to inspire peace and harmony. Over the years, he has supported various charitable causes both locally and internationally. He also volunteers his time to teach painting to mental health patients, helping them discover the therapeutic benefits of art and providing an outlet for their emotions.
