Joshua’s interpretation of the blue owl, inspired by sightings in Bukit Timah, is bathed in rich blue hues. The deep tones evoke a sense of wisdom and mystery, capturing the owl's powerful yet serene presence. The colours reflect both the stillness and the quiet strength of the bird, imbuing it with an aura of contemplation and timeless grace. Through this piece, Joshua invites the viewer to connect with the owl’s quiet authority, which resonates in the depths of the blue palette.

Since discovering art, Joshua has developed a distinctive creative voice that speaks through vibrant colours, particularly in his signature blue palettes. At 18, he transforms quiet moments spent observing nature into expressive works that bridge his inner world with those around him. Diagnosed with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in his early years, he has overcome challenges in cognitive, language, and motor skills to forge his own artistic path.
