"Overcoming Difficulties" shows the bridge at Pulau Ubin as more than just a structure, but also a quiet symbol of strength and resilience. Nestled within nature, it stands firm through all conditions, whether beneath bright sunshine or braving heavy storms. In painting this bridge, Sabrina reflects on her journey. Like the bridge, she has weathered the ups and downs of life, including the shifting tides of relationships and the way people treat her. The bridge becomes a quiet metaphor for endurance, for holding steady amidst life’s uncertainties, and for remaining grounded even when tested. Through this work, she shares a personal story of strength, quietly rooted in the stillness of nature.
