By Koh Xin Abraham
"Out of the Rabbit Cage: Becoming" is the final piece in the artist’s series, symbolising a journey of growth and self-realisation. Like many people with disabilities, the artist continues to face challenges and fears ahead. However, with support from his community, faith, and a willingness to learn, he is learning to navigate the world with newfound confidence, gradually becoming the person he was meant to be. No longer the timid rabbit in a cage, he now embraces his uniqueness and is ready to contribute meaningfully to society. This painting captures the artist’s transformation into someone strong, valued, and full of purpose.
