This painting expresses the theme of “Play” through texture, layers, and flowing shapes. The different shades create a sense of movement and rhythm, like waves or rolling landscapes. The complementary greens are evocative of a vast rolling field, representative of unbounded potential. The textured surface adds depth and creativity, showing how play can be calm, imaginative, and expressive through simple forms and natural colours. The artist hopes that his artwork can bring everyone joy and happiness.

Noah Tan is a visual artist from ART:DIS recognised for his vibrant use of colour and distinctive artistic style. A recipient of the MOE Lee Kuan Yew Exemplary Student Award and the Goh Chok Tong Enable Awards (UBS Promise), Noah is a graduate of the Rainbow Centre Talent Art Programme and holds a Distinction in the NAFA CLE Certificate in Visual Arts. His works have been presented at Singapore Art Week Light to Night, Tokyo Creative Salon, Marina Bay Singapore Countdown, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and in public spaces across Singapore.
