Nadya’s love for skateboarding sparked the moment she tried it out. "Friends who are there" reflects her yearning for friends who adore skating as much as her. The artwork depicts a group of friends skating together on the road in a carefree manner. More than wanting companions to skate with her, Nadya also wishes to share the fun and joy she experiences from skating with others.

For Nadya, art is a language of its own. Since childhood, she has found joy in drawing and colouring, using creativity as a way to explore her thoughts and emotions. What started as a favourite pastime gradually became an important source of comfort and self-discovery. Living with Depression and Anxiety Disorder, she enjoys creating from imagination, allowing ideas to unfold naturally on the page or canvas. Whether inspired by a feeling or a memory, Nadya approaches art with openness and authenticity.
