"Loved ones" draws inspiration from playgrounds, places deeply tied to precious childhood memories. Swings, loved by children, teenagers and adults alike, take centre stage, capturing the simple joy shared across all ages. Nadya painted what she imagined, putting in her best effort even when feeling drained. Creating this work became a small, gentle way to lift her mood, helping her to feel a little lighter and brighter. It shows how art can be a quiet comfort, turning thoughts and feelings into something meaningful, even in small steps.

For Nadya, art is a language of its own. Since childhood, she has found joy in drawing and colouring, using creativity as a way to explore her thoughts and emotions. What started as a favourite pastime gradually became an important source of comfort and self-discovery. Living with Depression and Anxiety Disorder, she enjoys creating from imagination, allowing ideas to unfold naturally on the page or canvas. Whether inspired by a feeling or a memory, Nadya approaches art with openness and authenticity.
