By Han Meizhen, Sabrina, Singapore Association for Mental Health
Portrayed as a vibrant symbol of the Muslim faith and a cherished focal point for Singapore’s Muslim community. Sabrina paints the Sultan Mosque's dome in a radiant gold, a deliberate choice to reflect the community’s warmth, generosity, and open-hearted spirit. To her, the golden dome symbolises more than beauty; it represents a heart of gold. The Muslim community, as she sees it, welcomes all with kindness and acceptance, embracing people of all races, religions, and backgrounds. Through this artwork, she honours the values of inclusiveness and harmony that shine at the heart of Kampong Glam.
