A tenacious mother of two, Ah Wat has overcome physical challenges to embrace life’s many experiences. Her crafting journey began when she discovered a class at the Handicaps Welfare Association, leading her to join Very Special Arts Singapore’s Crafters’ Guild. From pottery to paper crafts, candle-making to doll-making, she has honed diverse skills, now exploring woodwork and Chinese ink painting. For Ah Wat, crafting is a way to express herself, connect with others, and contribute to her family. Her journey is a testament to resilience and the power of creativity.
