Morning Blessings

A basket of blooms basks in the morning glow. Petals still dewy, stems reaching gently upward. Soft pinks, whites, and lilacs cluster like thoughts freshly gathered at dawn. Above, butterflies hover dancing through shafts of light that spill through the glass windows. There is no rush here, only rhythm. The kind that brings with it the gift of stillness, of breath, of being. It is not the start of just any day — it is the kind of morning that invites grace. And that alone is enough to be thankful for.

Stanley Lim Min-Chieh is a mouth painter whose journey is a testament to resilience and the power of self-expression. After a severe traffic accident in 2005 left him Quadriplegic, Stanley’s life as an aerospace engineer came to an abrupt end. In 2008, he discovered mouth painting — a challenge that soon became a deeply fulfilling way to express himself. His art, born from a place of strength and perseverance, reflects his journey of overcoming adversity. Today, Stanley continues to inspire others through his paintings, demonstrating that even the greatest challenges can lead to unexpected new beginnings.
