Sharlene, who has Down Syndrome, discovered her artistic voice through abstract drawing using lines, circles and repeating forms. She enjoys transforming simple shapes into expressive compositions filled with movement and rhythm. Her cheerful personality is reflected in her work, where playful patterns and flowing forms convey joy and spontaneity. Inspired by dancing and connecting with others, her artworks celebrate creativity, self-expression and happiness.
