"A Table of Connection" presents a vibrant spread of dishes, each illustrated with playful patterns and bold textures, where the variety of food represents people from different cultures, backgrounds, and abilities coming together. The bright colours and lively arrangement suggest gathering and celebration, reflecting the energy and joy of shared meals. Like the dishes on the table, every individual brings something unique, contributing to a rich and meaningful experience. The work reminds us that something as simple as sharing a meal can break barriers, forge friendships, and build a warm sense of belonging.

Nurhidayah, an artist with Down Syndrome, discovered her talent through a strong interest in drawing, painting and craftwork. She enjoys working with her hands and has developed a natural eye for colour, pattern and design. Skilled in macramé, she demonstrates patience and precision in her knotwork, and is now expanding her practice through sewing. Her curiosity and dedication continue to shape her evolving creative journey.
