This artwork explores how play connects people through shared memories of toys and imagination via a single playful composition. Each toy is illustrated in a simple hand-drawn style with black ink outlines, representing familiar objects for many across generations. Soft watercolor blooms in pastel shades fill the spaces, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. The scattered arrangement reflects the spontaneity of childhood play. By combining iconic toys from various generations, the artwork celebrates shared experiences and timeless memories for numerous people.

Aldie enjoys connecting with others through personalised greeting cards and handwritten letters, using art as a meaningful form of communication. He is particularly fond of drawing portraits, buildings and festive scenes, often capturing familiar subjects with care and detail. Living with an intellectual disability, Aldie remains eager to learn new techniques and explore different subjects, reflecting his resilience, determination and passion for art.
