Ready to Pounce

High above the savanna floor, a leopard waits, ready to pounce on unsuspecting prey. This artwork captures the breathtaking focus of one of nature’s most elusive predators. The leopard, while fierce and almighty, stays draped over a branch high-up, patiently awaiting its next prey. As it remains still, but alert, the leopard stares directly at the viewer, its golden gaze cutting through the soft, hazy blue of the sky. "Ready to Pounce" exposes viewers to nature's wilderness as they encounter a ferocious leopard.

About

Aaron began his career as a professional hairstylist before a motorcycle accident left him paralysed from the neck down. After years of emotional struggle, a chance introduction to art by another individual living with quadriplegia marked a turning point in his life. Discovering a natural talent for painting, he went on to receive formal training at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Working primarily in oils, Aaron developed a realist style inspired by nature, with each piece reflecting both technical skill and the quiet strength shaped by his personal journey.
