Busy in Spring

A bright yellow bee buzzes through the meadow, in search of sweet nectar. Flowers around strive to thrive, their slender stems stretching upward as high as they can reach. As viewers look up at the artwork, they feel gently embraced by these tall, delicate stalks, topped with vivid orange and soft pink petals that glow against the soft, hazy sky. Every stem reaches upward with quiet courage, every bloom is a celebration of growth and persistence. The busy bee, small but full of purpose, reminds viewers that even the smallest presence is vital in the balance and harmony of this vibrant, living world.

About

Aaron began his career as a professional hairstylist before a motorcycle accident left him paralysed from the neck down. After years of emotional struggle, a chance introduction to art by another individual living with quadriplegia marked a turning point in his life. Discovering a natural talent for painting, he went on to receive formal training at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Working primarily in oils, Aaron developed a realist style inspired by nature, with each piece reflecting both technical skill and the quiet strength shaped by his personal journey.
