By William Chia Yong Liang, Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA)
Against the misty sky, sturdy, tall sandstone pillar mountains of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park rise dramatically from deep valleys, their sharp peaks piercing through soft, drifting clouds. These grand mountains stand in perfect harmony with the surrounding dense forests, winding vines, and vibrant foliage that fill every crevice with life, painting the landscape in rich layers of emerald, jade, and touches of warm gold. Having stood the test of time, the towering formations stand unshaken, wrapped in an ever-shifting veil of light and mist amongst rich greenery. This breathtaking scenery is also a celebration of nature’s quiet grandeur.
About
William Chia Yong Liang’s life took a turn in 1984, when a spinal cord injury left him Quadriplegic. Yet this was merely the beginning of his incredible journey. In 2007, a stroke took his voice and confined him to his bed, but he never gave up. With the steadfast care and support of his wife, alongside years of rehabilitation, he reclaimed his strength and now sits in his wheelchair, a living testament to the strength of the human will.
