A lively gathering of koi fish glides gracefully across a bed of soft grey stones, their vibrant hues dancing in gentle harmony. Each fish moves with its own rhythm, yet together they form a quiet choreography of flow and connection. The circular motion of fishes suggests continuity, unity, and the shared currents of life, while each koi retains its individuality. "JOYLUCK" feels both celebratory and grounding, a reminder that joy is often found in togetherness, in diversity, and in the simple act of moving forward side by side.

About

A life-changing accident in 2005 left Lin Ming Jie with spinal cord injuries resulting in Quadriplegia and ending his career as an aerospace engineer. In 2008, he discovered mouth painting, which became a source of purpose and creative expression. Painting with a brush held in his mouth, he explores light, nature and flowers, creating works that evoke calm and quiet resilience. His art uses light as a symbol of hope, renewal and inner strength, offering viewers moments of reflection and peace.
