"Symmetrical Union" is a work of striking balance and visual harmony. Janetta is a mouth painting artist who turned to art after a life-changing car accident in 2010, which left her paralysed from the chest down. Through mouth painting, she found a way to express herself and regain control. Over time, it has helped her develop patience, precision, and joy, with each stroke of colour symbolising her journey of personal growth and resilience.
