Winter Stroll

The artist creates a dreamy acrylic vision of a winter forest, a peaceful and enchanting landscape where trees, ground, and branches are cloaked in snow and frost. The crisp air and hushed silence settle gently over the woods, broken only by the soft crunch of snow or the whisper of wind through bare branches. In the fine detailing of the snowfall, individual leaves merge into a single white blanket, imbuing the painting with quiet stillness.

Daniel Tan Beng Leong suffered a spinal cord injury in 1982, leaving him with Quadriplegia. In 2009, encouraged by friends, he began exploring mouth painting as a means of artistic expression. As a self-taught artist, he pursued this new path with determination and patience, steadily developing his practice over time. His works, often featuring vibrant animal themes and landscapes, reflect both his creativity and perseverance, growing into a distinctive visual language shaped by persistence and passion.
