This batik painting is a collective effort by Donovan, Fadhil, Lenon, Jozie, and Yan Min from Arts@Metta. Fascinated by the mysterious Mariana Trench and the unique angler fishes that reside in the deep sea, the group reimagines how marine life would look in another colourful world. Filled with vibrant marine life, glowing jellyfish, submarines, and playful deep-sea creatures, the artwork reflects a sense of wonder, imagination, and adventure. Through this collaborative piece, the artists hope to brighten people’s lives with kindness, creativity, and joy, while sharing their own imaginative interpretation of the underwater world.

Donovan, Fadhil, Lenon, Jozie and Yan Min are proud graduates of Metta School, where they were first introduced to the arts and nurtured through structured creative learning. Over the years, they have each developed their own artistic styles and strengths through exploration and practice.
