In this batik painting, Fadhil and Jozie gives vivid form to an imaginative and joyful vision of outer space, where a bright hot air balloon drifts through the Milky Way alongside astronaut friends in a universe full of possibility. The work reflects a deeply personal creative world, where fantasy are welcomed as natural companions. Through free and expressive mark-making, Fadhil imaginatively constructs a safe and magical space.

Fadhil and Jozie are proud graduates of Metta School, where they were introduced to and nurtured in the arts from their early school years. Through years of artistic learning and creative exploration, they have each developed their own unique styles and strengths in art-making.
