In this batik painting, Fadhil and Jozie imagine themselves in astronaut form, riding a majestic whale through the wondrous expanse of the universe, treating the cosmos itself as a limitless playground for exploration and discovery. The vibrant colours and whimsical characters give form to the belief that every individual sees the world differently and possess different ways of moving through life. Each figure within the composition represents individuality and creativity, reflecting the shared conviction that everyone is special in their own way.

Fadhil is an artist diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who enjoys spending his free time with his family’s seven cats. Patient and meticulous in his approach, he is a calm observer who follows instructions attentively, often drawing inspiration from his strong interest in manga and robots, which he brings to life in his work with enthusiasm and imagination. A proud alumnus of Metta School, where he was actively engaged in the arts, Fadhil continues to pursue his passion through Arts@Metta, further developing his skills and sharing his artistic journey.
