A goldfish glides gracefully through shimmering water, its scales catching the light like tiny sparks. Bubbles drift around, playfully following its movements, as if joining in the dance. For the artist, this scene reminds him of shared playful moments with family and friends, where laughter, curiosity, and movement flow together naturally.

About

Hong Wei is an emerging artist fascinated by animals, both real and imagined, from a young age. He often depicts sea creatures like hermit crabs and whales alongside fictional inspirations such as dragons and Pokémon. Living with Muscular Dystrophy, he continues to adapt his creative practice through digital tools. Through Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore (MDAS) art classes, he has developed his skills and growing confidence as an artist and designer.
