By Asher John William Seenee, Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore)
Bathed in golden light, a rooster balances gracefully with one leg raised, caught mid‑step in a gentle rhythm. Behind it, the sun sets and the sky darkens. It feels like a scene that might make neighbours pause, smile, or call someone over to look. In everyday community spaces, it is often these simple and unexpected moments that bring people together. A rooster’s playful posture can spark a shared laugh, a short conversation, or a moment of enjoyment between neighbours.
About
Asher is an emerging artist who explores visual expression through bold, expressive artwork inspired by energetic styles. After an early interest in art was affected by discouraging feedback, he rediscovered his passion at Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore (MDAS)’s Art Class. Living with Muscular Dystrophy, he continues to create with support from his caregiver, using art as a meaningful outlet for expression and healing.
