Village life in the 1970s near Pasir Panjang, located in the Western part of Singapore. The painting captures the lively activities of the locals, and they look jovial. Using generous strokes of paint, the artist worked with lines and layers to add depth and movement to the coloured sections. This not only reflects the scene, but also the spirit of the time when life moved gently, bonds ran deep, and each moment felt rich with meaning.

Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Randal Wong finds in art more than a hobby — it's a therapeutic tool that helps him focus and improve concentration. Beginning his lessons with VSA at eight, Randal has made great progress, often drawing inspiration from insects like butterflies and spiders. His skill in colour blending with poster colours and pencils shines through his work. At nine, his Singapore flag artwork was selected for a competition and exhibited. Randal aspires to enhance his art further, focusing on 3D effects and sharing his creations with others.
