Objectifs at Middle Road holds special significance for the artist as the place where his works were first exhibited under ART:DIS, and where he sold his first painting. "Where it Begins" revisits this memory through a warm and expressive composition, transforming a meaningful personal milestone into a vivid visual scene that captures both the significance of the place and the emotions tied to that moment. The artist’s works appear on the building’s façade, while the artist stands at the doorway, inviting viewers into the scene.

Living with Visual Impairment and Intellectual Disability, Sage Tan Song Yen is a 20-year-old Diploma in Fine Arts student at NAFA. Driven by a passion for drawing and painting, he is especially interested in drawing portraits and sketching buildings outdoors.
