In "Kampong House Surrounded by Nature and Animals", the artist revisits memories of kampung life, where generations lived closely and everyday moments were shared with friends and neighbours. It reflects a time before technology, when children played outdoors and animals and birds moved freely through the surrounding gardens. The artwork brings this world back in a vibrant and nostalgic way, capturing the warmth of community life and the quiet harmony between people and nature.

Amirah is an alumni of Pathlight School and a member of its Artist Development Programme (ADP), the school's signature programme that identifies and nurtures students with artistic talent. She has a keen eye for patterns found in nature, which she expresses through bold lines and vibrant colours. These distinctive qualities come together in a marvellous collection of motifs and artworks.
