Moonlight Jelly Dance

This artwork is an ethereal and deeply atmospheric underwater scene. A large, luminous jellyfish dominates the composition, its translucent form glowing softly against the deep, dark blue of the surrounding sea, while smaller jellyfish drift around it like scattered lanterns. The work is calm and floating, as though gravity itself has been suspended, and reflects an artist whose observant, wondering eye is just as at home in the depths of the ocean as it is on dry land.

About

Joshua is an artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who began his journey with a strong interest in drawing, using bold pencil lines and dense shading. With guidance from his art therapist teacher Karyn, he developed his understanding of contrast, silhouettes and visual storytelling. He continues to grow his artistic practice through exhibitions, including his third participation in the Shaping Hearts Exhibition.
