By Muhammad Syazwan Bin Rahmat
Despite the dark, gloomy night and the rustling of sharp grasses behind tall, shadowed bushes, this painting reminds us that even in our bleakest moments, hope is never truly lost. A long, white thread weaves through the composition symbolising peace, harmony, good fortune, health, and the warmth of human connection and community. The small fire, glowing gently yet steadily, represents the ignition of hope, a quiet spark that, once lit, travels down the thread, carrying light and meaning with it. Together, these elements form a powerful metaphor: even in darkness, hope can be kindled, and once it begins, it moves forward continuously, unwavering, and full of promise.
